Looking to buy my wife a nice necklace or something for her upcoming birthday. I don't know much about that kind of stuff and was wondering if you autists had any suggestions of high quality and/or nice things.
Was thinking of buying pic related but I feel like pearls aren't in vogue but I also don't really know.

this is what happens to plated brass after long term exposure to sweat. (back of watch)
dont get plated brass, its costume jewelery. The coating will flake and tarnish and corrode
get at least sterling silver which can be polished

Take a look at her other jewellery (and glasses if she has them) and match the metals.

I like rose gold, but silver or a cool toned gold looks a lot better with my skin tone
