Because I like it. I've lived in the southwest for most of my life, and I've always been fond of that weird 80s western/hair-metal/goth/punk pastiche. The belt is a nod to both while being versatile enough to use as a daily driver. And it looks natural because I'm not self conscious about it. Literally the kind of fit I throw on and forget about once I've left the house.
