nothing wrong with nomos lugs. Maybe check your eyes!

>> No.15504130

>>15504103
Iven they do not allow you to close the watch you can still put the watch and hold the bracelet with your other arm, but one important thing, look at a mirror with you palm open and resting on your chest, wrist circumference changes depending on the arm position, when you check your watch time your wrist is at its minimal width, that's why is important not getting oversized watches, because on that position can look extremely weird if there is too much lug overhang. So if you are not sure and the size is borderline, go to the store and try it on person, based on the rule your wrist is around 55mm, so 48mm lug to lug maybe could be acceptable, but you must see if you like the style of that watch, I think it would be too big for that kind of non tool watch.

The small tangente is ok and I think they have another model with normal lugs, it get ridiculous on their other watches,I don't know why the fuck they give their smallish watches that kind of long lugs, that brand would benefit a lot from short lugs.

36,6mm is a nice size, I have 17,5mm wrists and my first expensive watch will be a 36mm watch, of course it's a matter of personal taste, but I think smaller watches wear better, see people from the past wearing even 33mm watches without looking femenine, now the trend is wearing the biggest watch possible or you will be a sissy.

Depends on the movement but for the 6r15 -15/+25. Not that out of tolerance but compared to my SARB with the same movement which is only about ~+5 seconds a day it felt way too unacceptable.

I faced this decision and I still feel wrong choosing the SKX over the Kamasu based on specs and price alone, but I just really like the look of the SKX and I can always get a Kamasu down the line since they are still being produced. If I went with the Kamasu Id choose blue.

i hope you’re all having a great weekend.

a few threads ago i think i saw one of you had ordered the new seiko arnie. anon who did, have you received it? i decided to order one as i need a g-shock like watch but i’m concerned about the size. it’s such a large diameter that i worry it’ll become a hindrance rather than an aid.

my sarb017 has been with a seiko specialist for something like 3 months atm, not expecting it (but heres hoping)to get it back soon. That said I'm not just getting it serviced, I sent him a NE20 to cannibalize to make the movement hi-beat.

My Kamasu is bordering on the edge of acceptable time at about +20-25 seconds per day, is it worth trying to regulate it? I swim with it though, so I don't want to fuck up the water resistance. I know older Orient movements were known for inaccuracy, so part of me wants to just live with it as one of the quirks of the watch. If the crown wasn't so troublesome to operate, I wouldn't even consider regulating desu

>It differs, however, in the execution of its finish. Whereas the GMWB5000TCM had a camouflage print laser etched into a DLC (diamond like carbon) coating over a black titanium base, here the titanium has been blued before it goes under its DLC and laser treatment. This blue hue is just enough of a change to make it stand out from its green camo sibling making this an equally collectable G-Shock for your collection.

>The premium price tag these models command is not a result of greed, but rather time, effort, and attention to detail. These robust powerhouse watches are some of the toughest and most luxurious G-Shocks ever made, and they require their own dedicated assembly line to manufacture. I understand the idea of luxury and G-Shock may irk some people, as the brand has generally been revered for its low pricing and high reliability, but let me say unequivocally that if you’re willing to spend the extra money for something high-end and out of the box – the titanium lineup of G-Shock’s is worth exploring on the wrist.

>The beauty of these models is short of a black-tie affair, they are the perfect watches for any situation as their digital features and strong build and aesthetic make them unrivaled in fashion and functionality.

I think richard milles look fucking stupid so I was thinking it's like the AP royal oak where nobody really likes it and they just say it's amazing because it's been memed into being cool by rich people like modern art where nobody actually thinks that shit looks good but they are all huffing their own farts and afraid to be the odd man out. but then I was thinking what if I'm wrong, what if there's something I'm missing that doesn't come across even in the most autistically macro publicity photos?
then a while back before all this coronavirus lockdown shit I was able to see some RMs in person and they are shit, they look more plastic in real life, like you have a 50-50 chance of getting a RM or a batman decoder ring in a box of cracker jack. fuck RM so much

the pure white dauphine-spear hands really add a light, refined elegant touch, while bringing to mind gleaming harpoons of sailors. The myriad of blues, greens and magenta swirls evoke a sense of the uncharted seas from ancient legends, full of mystique and discovery. The shimmering abalone dial pulsates with raw electrical energy like a tropical typhoon. In the midst of such chaos, the glided logo of the esteemed swiss watchmaker floats above the purple waves, resembling a soaring albatross, flying bravely as the 12oclock index juts out like a steep seacliff.

With this unapologetic watch, chart your own course in the ocean of life! Would you be Sinbad or Captain Ahab? Hunt your own ghostly whale while armed with such an exquisite timepiece.

INVICTA©™ hits it out of the park again!

Invictas are future classics. First they'll go entirely out of fashion and many mechanical ones will get discarded as getting them repaired won't be economical but a few decades later they will be regarded as the most iconic watches of the first quarter of the 21st century. They'll be highly collectable, especially amongst a new generation of SEA watch collectors, with the most obscene and morbidly oversized limited edition models fetching exorbitant prices. Unironically the best long term investment pieces in the market.
