That's factually incorrect. Albania has never been successfully invaded for this very reason, it would be next to impossible. You could even say it's the Switzerland of the Balkans with a slightly more proactive foreign policy. During the Greek civil war Albania was able to launch operations into Greece without fear of losing ground or any retaliatory action and although this is way after Enver Hoxha his foundations provided great utility in the Kosovo War - Albania–Yugoslav border incident leading to Albania's eventual victory over the Serbs. Depends on your view of the gun and aesthetics in general, I guess. It's not hard to surpass the average gun owning schmuck in terms of looks, but fitting a gun into your own aesthetic could bring a problem for you personally.
Pragmatically, it's just a matter of "Where do I put a Glock without it being noticeable?" But if you want to choose something that fits with your style and throw pragmatism out the window, I'd probably see it as something similar to a set of glasses. It's ideally something that you'll have on you every time you leave the house, so it's going to be very personal decision and possibly have to fit several different aesthetics.
As someone who is interested in technical clothing, it's not hard to fit ARs, Glocks, and other contemporary weapons into the general "aesthetic," given that today's advances in techwear are due in large part to the global war on terror. That said, wearing Arcteryx LEAF and Salomons might be interesting aesthetically to me, some Japanese hikers, and a few other autists, but other people will see it as mall ninja shit.
Similarly, someone who is big into dark academia and carries some snub nose .38 or some old Smith 9mm might not be picking a pragmatic choice, and by doing so, I would see them as larpy. But in some way, all of fashion is just larping- this board especially.
