I just got this in the mail. It's the made in U.K. version. I'm comparing it to my Scentbird decant and I swear it's weaker. I've got OCD so likely it's the exact same, but I'm almost starting to think that the bottles made in Oman are better. Of course I've got no idea whatsoever where the perfume that Scentbird decanted came from, but I feel like there's a difference. I'll have to try it tomorrow when I'm not drunk. my sample of Toy Boy came today and I'd say its really modern but maybe even ahead of its time. This thing is a really nice male floral. It gives me Versace Dreamer vibes with how soft and introspective it feels but theyre nothing like each other. Its weird too that the rose doesn't bother me in this like it does in Cartier Declaration, Van Cleefs and Arpels Pour Homme and that Tom Ford I can't remember. Most amouage fragrances fall into the floral genre and they are beautiful. I have this one unlabeled sample I got some time ago that is an absolutely beautiful fragrance but I cannot recall what it is. I think it is either something from frapin or amouage. A mildly citric light floral with an ambery bottom note that is not reflection man (I actually have a sample of that one).

Why is this so amazing? Went on a date with a guy wearing this and I couldn't stop sniffing him. Before I left his apt got him to spray me with it but it doesn't smell as good on me

It is olfactorealistic and gourmand at the same time. Its sweetness is exquisite and masculine. Condensed milk, ginger, sweet potatoes and a grassy vetiver. I’m glad I copped a bottle before the impending reformulation due to the opoponax ban.
Also, it is one of those fragrances that can be used year round but change drastically on certain seasons. At summer it is mostly sweet and grassy while in fall and winter it has the heavier burnt wire accord.
