Im looking to get a nice pair of sunglasses, possibly bespoke. Im a go big or go home type guy though so I wanna get the nicest ones I can afford. under $1k preferably

Ive been looking at companies like e b meyrowitz and jacques marie mage but Im sure there are others. Looking for something with a good long company history, maybe limited production, or better yet bespoke.

My pair of Mykita are still going strong after four years + of daily wear and I just got all the plastic parts replaced for free from their store. The engineering and craftsmanship are impeccable and the designs/collabs are interesting. Kuboraum also makes nice sunglasses. I didn't really see the point in paying over 1k for a pair of sunglasses and lenses, especially what it'd cost to get a pair of acetate frames bespoke. What is drawing you to look at bespoke? You're definitely not gonna get a pair under a grand.

The prices that brand charges for made in China...no sweetie. For a little bit more you could get a much nicer pair made somewhere like Germany or Japan.

To OP, I forget to mention a brand called Rigards. They have bespoke elements and potentially are in your price range. Also look into all the houses in Fukui. I think Masunaga was the original, but I also know Matsuda is made there.

Stick with Ray Ban or some other low end frames

1: most normal fags will think moscots, kanekos, ditas or designers they never heard of, Celine , chrome hearts are off brand

2: as a result of thinking they're off brand they will treat your things like it's also cheap like theirs. Ie throwing your expensive watch into their glasses and key pile thinking they're doing you a favor by "cleaning up"

I was recently in the bay area and in the bedroom I had laid out my edc. Keys, glasses watch.

My GF had a friend of hers tag along because that friend couldn't afford a room of her own so...no big deal couch is available.

Well this friend isn't exactly a savvy person and grabbed my entire edc layout threw it into an empty vase by the door alone with her dollar store shit.

And expected me to say thanks.

I just lectured her on if it's not yours don't touch it without raising my voice since women are like dogs and get frightened if you raise your voice or show emotion.

So if you're mostly around lower class people buy things they know.

Ienthey know Ray Ban and apple watch

They know Rolex.

They'll throw a Patek into a bin or a drawer.

Buy yeezys over Alden or whites.

Think.. they're low class people with low expectations of quality of goods.

What's horween? Oh coach is a good leather brand!

Right? Think like that.

meant to include this in the last post but sorry to hear about that incident tho. Like I said, I dont like people touching my things, let alone moving them. The nerve of that bitch.

Shit that gets me is when people who want everyone to know they think material shit is frivolous and they care about more ~meaningful~ things, so they go around treating nice things like shit.

This is true, sometimes that isn't even enough. When I managed the kitchen of a restaurant there was a girl working there who never did enough prep for the night and didn't clean properly, seriously she had to be told to put the pile she swept up into the garbage and not just leave it on the floor. Anyway, after being left out to dry during service, I firmly walked her through her duties. No anger, no raised voice, but direct and professional. Next thing, she's not in the kitchen for 15 minutes, "Where is she? " oh out back bawling her eyes out, can't stay for the night. Contacts the owner. No correction in her performance and does the same thing next shift. Quits, said I yelled at her too much. HAHA
