I dont shampoo at all (once a month maybe), I also apply leave-in conditioner and a mask almost everyday

I've perfected it.
>1: Don't use shampoo and if you really have to, use conditioner instead
>2: Use a light hold lotion. I use pic rel and it works perfectly.
>3: Lightly dry your hair by dabbing it with a towel and then comb it into position and let air dry, particularly if you have thick hair like OP pic
>4: Once dry run your fingers through it to give texture
This will keep it smooth most of the day
