Yeah the shirt's always been a bit big on me. It ended up in my brother's closet as a result (he's 6'3" and lanky) but he was going to donate it so I swiped it back.
As for the ring, kind of? It's a Yurman ring I bought myself as a silver alternative. Both my ring fingers are the same size so some days, like today, I wear both for maximum douchepower. I actually own an L.L. Bean one that's much more casual looking, but it's not nearly as crisp as this one as you might imagine. This logo is small enough so it doesn't bother me, but in general I agree that I would prefer/look better in a plain one. Ah, I see I thought that they were khakis at first just because of the colour, when I get cords they're usually in dark, earthy colours which imo looks better, It's good that they're pleated though. You definitely should get the waist taken in so it conforms better to your hips, butt and such instead of it looking like a perfectly straight line. It could also be that you have short legs so when you wear high waisted trousers the rise just overpowers your legs, so to say. One more thing that I'd like to point out is that the shirt is clearly too big, you rolling your sleeves is a bit of a cope to hide it.

Yes and idk probably. It's something I've never had done to a shirt honestly. If you're really old school it's an acceptable first for poplin business shirts, but even people's dad's aren't that old fashioned anymore. That's full on 30s and 40s style baggy for a business/dress shirt.

What are your opions on incorporating 1 or maybe 2 pieces that are less formal than the rest of your outfit? Say you are wearing a shirt. tie and a good pair of loafers. Would wearing a pair of well fitting cargo pants look off?
Another example: White shirt, tie, slacks and a good pair of shoes. Then adding a less formal jacket, like a jean jacket or a kimono-style jacket.
This would of course be worn in more casual settings.
