I'm trying to grow my hair out. My hair is naturally quite greasy and I read from multiple sources that you shouldn't wash your hair too frequently as it damages your hair. But the thing is that I get dandruff if I don't wash my hair every day and my hair is too greasy after a day so I can't go multiple days without showering. I wash my hair with just cold water and no products at all, every morning and this has worked the best but my hair still looks quite greasy. I have tried to use conditioners and shower less frequently but then I get dandruff and my hair feels dry.
