I disagree with that statement to an extent, obviously there are ways you can improve your looks with things such as skincare, fashion sense, good hygiene, etc. But there are many factors you cannot control, and I think its unfair to judge someone based solely on looks. From personal experience I think if you're a good person it'll shine through your exterior, like as you said "You're outside and inside are connected" sure we have the photo of the gentleman who doesn't typically attractive, but if we sat down with him and found he had a sense of humor and a heart of gold I would find him attractive in that sense, someone I'd like to spend time with, more so then an attractive person who is unkind.
