so there's pretty much nothing you can do about this besides surgery right?

you talking about your nose or the pores? bc you can fix the pores

Are you talking about the shape of the nose or the filaments? If it is about the filaments, literally everyone has them and they are not noticeable unless you look for them. You can clean them up with the proper tools every other day, but it doesn’t make that big of a difference. The shape of the nose is also ok.

The pores. How do you fix them?

>>15383998

go to a skincare thread bb
there are chemical exfoliants that can help
i prefer retinol
i dont wanna give too much skincare advice bc they all think i spend too much but my pores are smaller than before and bit clogged

>> No.15384017

>>15384016
NOT a bit clogged***
but yeah there are pore strips even that will pull out the mess inside...then you need to shrink the pores down and keep face clean and treated so they dont fill back up

and whats awesome about sephora is you can return exchange stuff
or get samples (obv not the peels youre talking about bc they come individually wrapped)

those don't help for shit
also, even if you clean your pores with a deep scrub after you take a warm bath, give it a few hours outside - shit's filled all over again.
no permanent solutions besides skin treatments from a dermatologist, I guess

The OP pic looks like irritated and inflamed skin, which increases the size of the pores. If your skin looks like that I would be more gentle with your skin and protect your moisture barrier. Make sure to moisturize. To reduce the size of sebaceous filaments use chemical exfoliants (salicylic is best for this purpose but others will also help). I did this and it works immediately. I find that a weekly acid peel works better for the ones between my eyebrows. It takes a couple of sessions but you only need 1 product instead of 3-4

>> No.15385711

i think you can buy a product that sucks out the black heads and it doesnt really damage your skin as much as the other products do.
You should also consider exfoliating,

who cares if they think you spend too much

>> No.15385912

No one thinks you spend too much, who cares what you put on your own face? All anyone says is that you saying all cheap products are bad is retarded because you simply go off the price and never read the ingredients. There are plenty of "cheap" products that are basic, don't have anything bad in them, work well, and are recommended by respected dermatologists. There are plenty of expensive products that have terrible ingredients. Price isn't directly correlated with effectiveness because nearly all the scientifically proven, effective ingredients are cheap as shit because they have been around forever. Both expensive and cheap brands can be either good or bad, it's pretty obvious that price isn't the ONLY determining factor you should use. The shit you use isn't even expensive at all, it's only mid-range shit, so I don't see why you are so caught up on price.

They will have to shrink over time by keeping the pores clean.

Exfoliate your face once a week. Use a mild face wash every day. When you get out of the shower, use an astringent pad to close the pores, and then use an oil-free face lotion to lubricate so that your face doesn't get too dry and over-produce oil.
I am prone to this too, and this method helps

>> No.15386089

>>15386021
Pores can't "close". Using an astringent is also generally a really fucking bad idea.

>> No.15386160

No one cares that she spends a lot of money but she likes to go off about how inexpensive products are crap and takes it as a direct attack when people tell her that cheap =/= bad.
