I read a couple people describe it as a coca cola scent and now I can't un-smell that. Smells like coke with rose petals. Blog post time, I smelled Fahrenheit Parfum and Aqua Fahrenheit today. I thought the Parfum could be a cozy winter frag but the vanilla is too strong for my liking. Suede is also weird. The fahrenheit DNA was still there though but I'll stick to Eau Des Baux as a winter frag. And then Aqua Fahrenheit, a local shop still has 4 bottles. I thought it wasn't bad but I dunno. The fahrenheit dna doesnt separate it enough from all the other freshies. Also normal fahrenheit, i sprayed some on me, and it smelled different once again compared to the other times ive worn it. what a weird frag. I got my nose on some other stuff. Mancera Wind Wood I think? Last time I smell a Mancera. For all the shit talking designers get I'd rather buy a Chanel or Dior frag over a Montale or Mancera. Everything of theirs I've smelled has been designer dna but with shittier quality. YSL LNDLH Libre, which just smelled like bubblegum to me. I guess it's hard (near impossible) to appreciate the full complexity of some fragrances by just smelling them for a couple seconds on someone.
In that way, if you're not into perfume, you can wear boring shit that just smells nice and gather compliments - if you actually care for OLFACTORY ART, though, you're making things more difficult for yourself by choosing something that might scare off the normies, but you personally enjoy.

Any hot takes on Montale Full Incense here? I think it might be a great alternative to Avignon which is kinda hard to get and more expensive.
I love this warm incense, dries down to a very comfy scent and can be worn at home or on a night out alike.

When people start to know your taste, they can judge how relevant / irrelevant your opinion is to them. Scorcher today bros, time for some expensive sunscreen + philosykos. My fav summer combo. Although I do wonder what I'm going to do when my decant runs out. I own the Paco Rabanete XS fragrance that is themed around praline. It is sort of nice, being a lemony-chocolaty scent, but it is sort of too common desu.I mostly use it as room spray before I go to bed.

Buy a sample large enough to wear for a few weeks so you get to know TV. There are pretty decent knockoffs, I own one, and it's very, very hard for anyone to tell the difference. I'd urge you to sample those as well. I can personally tell the difference though, the knockoffs have a more cinnamon spiciness to them, but it's subtle and the drydown is completely identical. People have told me they prefer the knockoff, so there's that.

LDDM is much more wearable than lonestar memories. lonestar memories is more of a meme fragrance in a good way though

Today I wore Bond no 9 Bleecker Street while shopping at an outdoor mall in the 90 degree heat and high humidity, and it was basically gone in about 3 hours. I have to get extremely close to my arm to smell any of it. Out of the ones I've smelled, I think of Shalimar and LDDM. All three of those (those and Old Spice) are classified as Oriental Spicy fragrances, so if you don't like those, just search Fragrantica for that category.

It probably depends on the ingredients used. Sometimes I use Tobacco Vanille in the summer and it lasts for about 40 hours, something that doesn’t happen in the winter. Fat electrician, on the other hand, only lasts 6-7 hours during the summer and 14-16 during fall.
