Are there any girl-sized, good and cheap divers? Don't mind quartz, but needs to be robust and have the bezel.
The fiance needed a robust watch quickly, so I just gave her my Amphibia and she actually likes it and finds the bezel really practical, but it's too large (and a tad to heavy), so what other options do I have?

I was concerned about this, but I don't find it feels cheap or hollow at all. It obviously weighs less when directly compared to a steel watch, but I disagree with the "it disappears on your wrist" comment I see a lot, especially with a Ti strap. It still feels substantial and has that chunky clink when you're putting it on.

I also personally prefer the matte shine of titanium vs glossy steel. It looks bulletproof.

Earlier today, at around 9:30 AM, I was sitting on the edge of the spa in the backyard, polishing my watch with a soft cloth. Suddenly, music came on from my neighbor's house. I could faintly hear, and sat there listening to Somewhere Over the Rainbow, staring at my watch in the very bright sunlight. I was very stoned, and it just felt so beautiful. The sun on my skin, everything. The coincidence made it one of the best experiences I've ever had in my life. I can't say why. You'd have to be there in the moment. It was perfect.

>>15310416
I had a Longines Legend Diver a while back and while it looked cool the quality was not there for the price. They recycle their classic designs but they are overpriced for really middling levels of finish on top of the proportions often being badly executed, and their more contemporary designs are confused. Look at the Hydroconquest you posted, for instance. The hour indices are way the fuck out there. The numbers are gigantic but the indices are tiny in comparison. The date window is almost out of place because of how small it is compared to the indices. The font for the large numbers doesn't seem to quite match with the numbers on the bezel. The case design is almost but not quite utilitarian, like a bad Oris Aquis attempt. The watch si gigantic without feeling like it offers any of the positives of a gigantic watch ie. supreme legibility and presence. It's just big and heavy.
Just because something is Swiss doesn't mean it's instantly great. That's a huge fucking meme and you would be wise to ditch that prejudice immediately. German watches, like Sinns, are impressive because they have something to prove and can't just coat on MUH SWISS HERITAGE bullshittery so you are getting more watch for your money, and Sinns are masterpieces of efficient German design.

>A built-in direction sensor automatically calculates the direction to Mecca using data about your current location. You also get automatic calculation of the five prayer times in accordance with the position of the sun.

>The prayer Compass comes pre-programmed with geographical data for 30 metropolitan areas. With a preset area, simply input the code for your location and press a button and the compass points the way to Mecca. For areas that are not pre-programmed, just input the GMT differential, longitude, latitude and directional variation manually. This means you can use the prayer Compass virtually anywhere around the world to determine the direction to Mecca.

>Select one of the 30 preset codes and the prayer Compass automatically calculates the five prayer times for each day. Each city code is programmed to calculate prayer times in accordance with standard practice in the country or geographic area. Anyone know of a good way to keep nylon NATO/Zulu style straps fresh short of washing them with soap and water once a day? I miss my Gshock strap not only because it was a little more comfortable but also because I could go weeks without having to clean it.

The nylon straps on my diver just absorb sweat (and water from washing my hands) and stay damp all day, so by the end of day #3 I can literally smell the sourness when I waive my hand near my face.

Yesterday, my chinkshit blackbay clone arrived. "Corgeut" brand, black bezel, gold ticks, Seagull movement (because screw having a non-hacking Miyota in a chinese watch).

Every part of the clasp and bracelet is milled, except for the plastic beads that click the parts in place, and the screw-pins which are presumably made on a CNC lathe. Machining on the body is immaculate but edges feel a bit sharp, so it seems to not have been hand-finished all around. The main flaw I can find on this one is that the crown is a bit grindy and not very smooth to screw out. Movement is keeping about -8 s/d thusfar; I'd have preferred it to run slightly fast instead. Rotor can be heard at times. Power reserve I haven't tested yet. Sapphire seems pretty good so far, time will tell how it holds up with use. Bezel action is smooth and nice, but it's a 90-click thing -- so each click is 0.67s/45s/8m depending on hand of reference.

Sure feels like a big watch. In many ways this is better than my Invicta subclone, but worse than glorious BOCTOK. Probably you can have better chinkshit for 85€, or as good for less money, but as long as it doesn't fuck up somehow this'll be my "big diver" option from now on.
