i keep seeing this guide and how it bashes pumas. but from my personal experience, i got 3 pairs of puma suedes in total from costco. 1 of them i wore to the ground after 2+ years of daily wear to college and my supermarket job i had at the time. those things could take a real beating. the other 2 suedes are still going strong, and in fact look really cool with the battle scars of daily rugged wear

i personally recommend these. they go for real cheap online (i got them at costco for less than $20) and you wont feel bad about ruining them like you would an adidas handball spezial or a gazelle

The most important thing about the look is just the color of the jeans. Vintage jeans dont fit well and you can just wear modern ones instead. retro shoes and basic shirts plus vintage jackets cover up the modern cut of the jeans. Remember you want to have the vibe of the 80s and 90s but you don't want to look like you're larping.

Whe were you born? Noone I can think of wore high-cut jeans in the 90s. At most those were remnants of the 80s. The standard jena swere Levi's 501 straight cut, like the dude in pic is wearing. Also the chucks were a staple for some seasons. It is definitely an authentic look.
