I firmly believe that shorts are inherently casual and should be worn in the most casual of settings. Just cop some lulu lemon ones to wear with a t shirt and just be comfortable and understand that shorts will never be effay (but that is ok!). Also 7 inch max inseam

keep them pretty short, Chino shorts work with a lot of stuff.
if you're gonna do jean shorts, don't get the faggy ripped up ones like 2 and 4.
You can look good in shorts, but I don't know if you'll ever be effay in them.

Linen shirts are summery as fuck and work well, long sleeve (rolled-up) or short. Also plain white t-shirts/henleys. That 90% of my summer fits right there, with the occasional Breton stripe. I made you a little moodboard to show you what I mean.

i grew up in san diego. Now I live in florida. It gets hotter here and is regularly 100% humidity. Shorts are valid.
