If you had played it for longer than 5 minutes, you'd see the only similarity between the two is the cartoony art style and presence of cosmetics, which was in this game at launch but not added in TF2 for about ~2 years after its release. This game is more or less unique; shooters like Overwatch go too hard on the ability gimmick to the point where the game just comes down to who dumps the most big flashy abilities at once, whereas in this abilities mildly supplement your gameplay to tailor it to how you like to play.
