They wear 'ugly dad shoes' like ozweegos (basically the shoes we made fun when we were young) and they wear a strange bastardization of hip-hop clothing mixed with high fashion plastic trash. Depends, streetwear is still a mainstay and hasn't changed much, essentially the same streetwear millenials wear.
The eboy/egirl look, apart from certain hairstyles, doesn't have fixed staples there are different varieties, the most common being a mix of skater, grunge, emo, and streetwear but there are even people that drift towards more streetwear or even prep.
The prep influences usually indirectly from ching chong prep i.e kpop.
Also note that the zoomer skater is related to, but distinct from, the classic skater style we imagine, certain elements remain some are more exaggerated, I guess it could be called neo skater

A recurring theme is layering and oversized fits, the classic example being the striped long sleeve shirt with an oversized t shirt on top.
Calling it a 90s revival isn't really cutting it, just because the grunge aesthetic is popular again doesn't mean it's explicitly a 90s vibe that's being replicated, it's more the same themes and ideas that are making a resurgence

That's moreso the case with college students than highschoolers, who for the most part still fall for fast fashion traps and follow muh trends. Typically manifests in wearing full H&M or whatever almost-techwear-but-closer-to-athleisure pieces that Urban Outfitters is selling that week.
