Yeah its kinda like a more casual streetwear that is usually cheap, accessible and versatile as well as comfy... so damn comfy... I've been loving the baggy cargo's lately.

Raves aren't totally 'youth culture' but i like how rave wear adopts a sort of skater look but makes it more psychedelic. Like you can dress up in intense streetwear to a rave and be totally accepted.
Not a fan of what's popular at raves now, especially in girls, but I've been really into noticing how ravewear influenced Japanese streetwear in the 90s. I'm taking a lot of inspo from FRUiTS mag at the moment. Also old teen girl fashion catalogues of the late 90s / early 2000s. They were really into the skater pants then.

im not a brand whore i just like to shop around. i've gotten lucky at thrifts. I also like hunting etsy for vintage rave pants, skater jeans, baggy cargos but they can get pricey.
My most worn cargo's are some 2000s Just Jeans cargos i got for a buck in an op shop. Just stay open minded for early 2000s tacky cargo's, they're actually pretty clean when worn right.

In my hometown the scene is completely dead compared to 2013 and the skaterpark has been disassembled
In 1M city where I live there has been very few people on skate spots compared to when I first started my uni, also all the skateshops closed down and skateparks have been closed down
Older genereation grew out of it (becoming photographers, starting bands or opening tattoo shops) and the newer generation never came
Skating is pretty big in south america I heard, but thats to be expected because they are a decade behind culturally
