What do you call the hair in front of Links ears?

Sideburns?

>> No.15120781

if that were facial hair that would be sideburns, but that's just hair

So I should ask my barber for "hair that hasn't been put behind his ears"?

>> No.15120816

sidelocks or sidetails i think

>> No.15120939

>>15120815
you find a link wig and ask your barber "hey can you do this?"
or just do it yourself you literally just need to grow out your hair and then but the back part of it in a low ponytail

In Romanian they are called "perciuni", but apparently there isn't a word for it in English.

it's just hair that you tuck in front of your ears, side locks may be the term you're looking for

>>15120727
they are called side strands, google images it and see the results
>>15120793
>>15120816
usually used as a synonym for this unfortunately https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Payot
>>15120946
kek anon is right in a slightly archaic sense. mom taught me the same but sadly most people use it now to mean sideburns.
perciuni used to be the term for the shorter tuft of hair growing in front of your ear where grandmas or moms pull you from when you're naughty.

They are called hair wisps, google images it.
>>15120793
>>15120816
not sidelocks, because that is used as synoym for https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Payot
and neither side strands because that's usually used for the longer sides of some bangs
>>15120946
that's how mom taught me too but usually people use the term for sideburns now unfortunately.

That some kind of japanese thing. Those sidebangs are usually cut around the ears, at least longer than the actual bangs. Something aristocratic, I believe. Read it somewhere years ago, can't find the proper term. But you'll see it on Zelda and most other sliteye creations as well.

payot is a hyponym for sidelocks, not a synonym (https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/hyponym#English).). hair wisps aren't necessarily in front of the ears, but that's prolly the first place people think of when they hear it

What a lovely picture anon. That’s some life goals stuff, encourages me to continue growing out my hair just so that I can get a gf to do the same thing with me

Thank you anon. I have been trying to go for that look ever since I saw Boku no Pico and I never seemed to be able to describe what I wanted to a hairdresser so they would always cut it either too short or just do nothing and leave me with a shaggy look.
