It's pretty decent, I'd say. Very scenic place, with many different feels and locales in and around the city. The only real gripe I have, having lived here my whole life, is the people. Lots of Chinese international students and general undesirables. But the issue itself is minor, so I wouldn't worry too much about it. Food is pretty good, but it depends on accessibility, as you could be hiking across the city for a good burrito or bowl of noodles. Commutes are not as awful as people make them to be, but I will say that the Green Line can be murder during peak hours. I'd talk about nightlife, but I don't club or go out. We do have some great pubs and bars, though. Overall, 8/10, ignore the niggers and the idiots.

Bostons ok. If youre looking to study art go don't go here but for anything else it should be good. It doesnt nearly snow enough though and the T can be a pain (some commuter rail trains I take almost always arrive either early or fifteen minutes late and the green line is so damn slow). Overall though the architectures nice and theres plenty of places to shop if youre ok with walking a bit. I like it here. depends on which direction you are coming from. Green Line would be the easiest since Copley Station exits right there at the library (directly if you are getting to Copley via an inbound trolley). D branch is a bit of a mess right now due to construction so avoid that one, and if you are coming from the north, no Green Line trains are running through Government Center this weekend due to construction.

I'd suggest driving to Brookline and getting on an inbound C branch train, or getting on the Red Line and taking it to Park Street and transferring to any outbound Green Line trolley then it's three stops to Copley

but since you are unfamiliar with the T, maybe you actually might be more comfortable just driving all the way into city. The T kinda sucks. I've been living here for seven years now, and the T got worse each one. Easily the worst metro system I've had experience with so far.
