After sampling a bunch of their frags, I have come to the conclusion that Areej Le Doré is not for me. All their frags smell like industrial solvents. I’m as nichefag as they come, but I can’t do these. War and Peace literally smells like burnt plastic to me.

Did the reformulations completely change Kouros, are people just retarded, or am I the retarded one? I cannot understand the revulsion this perfume causes. For me, it's a very incensey smell, with a noticeable note of bitter green herbals like artemisia, and a slight sweaty and sweet skin smell. I don't get any shitpisscum stink from it, nor do I get 80s macho man vibes. The sillage is strong but I can't imagine this smell being particularly offending.

This is unironically an issue I'm having, and don't really know how to deal with. I had a drinking problem which had my skin bad/overweight/making awful style choices for most of my adult life. Got my 6 MFK samples in lads: Baccarat Rouge 540, Grand Soir x2, Oud Satin Mood, Petit Matin, and Lumiere Noire homme. I just got on BR 540 on one arm and Oud Satin Mood.

For BR 540, basically just insert the copypasta for it here. It's so weird and sweet. For some reason it has the property of being basically undetectable after the first few sniffs? How this got hyped so hard is really beyond me.

Oud Satin Mood is a snice. It smells like a swanky lotion or a really high end department store. Wonderful dark rose that takes a steamy log on TF Cafe Rose.

Overall though, these two frags didn't wow me because of the prices that MFK bottles go for. They're well blended, but so are other frags that don't cost a kidney. But Maybe the other three frags will turn it around when I get to them.
