Honestly Rick was pretty solid this season. He really emphasises the clash between Performance and Behaviour in our social media age. Half the outfits are distracting with crazy colours coupled with these 80's inspired shoulder pads which seek to take the focus away from the individual wearing them while the other leave nothing to hide with tight cashmere body suits with cut-out legs and clear blade runner inspired rain coats. Some fits have both blurring the line between the two ideas.

This contrast of two ideals works brilliantly to create a cohesive collection based on opposing ideas. Its certainly refreshing seeing him work with colours outside of black, grey and brown.

My personal favourite is this one, the exposed belly and red under pieces with the clear coat remind me of a clear anatomy doll with the red being the muscles

LV is better than OW because LVMH gave Virgil a great designer team, Virgil barely designs anything if not nothing at all according to rumors, it all basically comes down to who’s the best team, LV also have a WAY bigger budget ofc. It was the most decent Virgil LV show to date, I liked the patchwork shirt pictured and the leather good were also great, the shapes and gradient brown leather felt refreshing in this new over-monogrammed landscape , the rest went from meh to awful
