Honestly, Polo fits me best and I don't give a shit about the pony on the chest so I usually wear them. I hate Spier and Mackay but that's because their slim/extra slim fits are turbo-skelly fits, I still have to give their contemporary fit a try since I struck out on the other two.

It totally depends on what kind. Most low end suits are polyester or a polyester blend and not only fall bad on you, look bad, they can also be warm. An 100% wool suit jacket is none of that. You can also get very thin almost silk like wool suit jackets in super 140's or so.

Wool breathes. You can even wear wool socks in Summer. I dress year round in the style of your pic (The band Hurts) but occasionally go prep and own a handful of thicker wool sports jackets.

I hold the position that 30s style round glasses are the better ones, but even they are in process of soification.
