hey newbie here, so my girlfriend she knows fashion, she is always wearing zara and other big fashion clothes like that, ugg boots and that.

i showed her this website and she laughed a little, said it was probably boys here who don't know fashion brands like zara, she put this outfit together for me. i'm not sure how i feel about it but she said it looks fashionable.

Is this bait? That looks fucking terrible.

This looks good. It would had been better if it had a long sleeve, but I find short-sleeved shirts acceptable. The collar looks a bit too stiff, which is weird for a short-sleeved shirt, but oh well.
>>14914474
This i do not like. The sweatshirt doesn't fit that well, has a huge logo on it and does not fit the streetwear aesthetic. Joggers (or are those just sweatpants?) are a kind of piece that completely depend on the quality of the footwear, and those fila sneakers were a shitty trend that should had never been revived. They also make you look like a manlet.
>>14915410
Kek. None of the pieces synergice with eachother.

my girlfriend said pieces are not supposed to match because that would make it a suit??

It is not a question of matching, it is a question of working well with one another. The sneakers remind me of streetwear, the peacoat is smart casual, the skinny jeans are from the hipster/rock aesthetic and the jacket is techwear. The colors are also weird. You either commit on the black and go all monochromatic or you go with pieces with colors that complement the black(white). Right now most of your pieces are black, but those skinny jeans with a very artificial washing makes it all look unsettling. Swap the jacket with an interestingly coloured flannel shirt and maybe change those shoes and it will be much better. Also, skinny jeans are soooo 2013. Even slim fit is a dead trend from the 2010s.

yeah the jeans are supposed to look worn and used, a bit washed out, my girlfriend said thats really fashionable and she said skinny fit is "in" and only old men wear baggy jeans.

>yeah the jeans are supposed to look worn and used, a bit washed out, my girlfriend said thats really fashionable and she said skinny fit is "in" and only old men wear baggy jeans.
That is the opposite of fashionable. What is fashionable is buying unwashed jeans and making them look worn out naturally yourself, based upon the natural movement of your body.
Women have shit taste in fashion. Have you ever wondered why most female haute couture houses are named after men? Notorious exception to Chanel being the most important name of female fashion, of course.
>zara
Zara is fast fashion: cheap garbage made in Asia with the worst materials possible in order to follow manufactured trends from each season. If you don't want to delve into niche styles that are "old men clothing", there is always paris fashion week to look foward for...

your post sounds very problematic and borderline misogynistic, you even admit that zara is fashionable, i know she paid over $20 for a pair of pants so somebody who doesn't know fashion wouldn't pay that much!
