The issue at hand here might actually be perception: I look like I use my parents money for clothing. This may be correct, but it comes only from your experience and judgment. The truth exists separately from how things are perceived, even when the two line up. I won't disagree with you on what you've just said, I may look as you've described, but I will let you know that my parents are vehemently against my clothing hobby and don't support it financially. I cannot say the same about anyone else in the picture as I've not asked in detail about it.

I understand this completely... But I would certainly find a way of affording the clothing I want if my parents had less money. I don't have very much clothing - like what someone previously said, having a few expensive pieces is one thing but having a whole closet full of expensive shit is another. And it's important to understand that outside of a few expensive pieces, I wear uniqlo, thrifted, and milsurp. I'm thankful for being in the position I'm in, but a lot of people like to simplify the situation in a diminutive way.
