I have a nice watch - a Rolex submariner. While it’s undoubtably nice, and sure to last me a long time, it’s not anything anybody has noticed or complimented me on in person.

It depends on the label and the piece. Some designers have legitimately unique stuff that you can't find anywhere else and if someone genuinely loves how something looks and can afford to drop however much on it then why not? However I agree that some clothes should not cost anywhere near as much as they do i.e Half of what Balenciaga sell

Off white belt, supreme crew neck, couple supreme/ polo hats, supreme bag. Honestly other then that my whole wardrobe is thrifted. No different then any other clothes just like the look and have the money
