>>14809211
Good stuff but to be honest having both HdP 1725 and IB is a bit redundant. Ordering samples of both might be a good thing if you want to decide which one do you prefer. Avignon is intellectually stimulating but hard to wear. Chypre Palatin is absolutely stunning. My favourite fragrance to date. I wouldn't recommend blindbuying any of these (let alone because of price) but for sampling it's very good choice and you'll learn a lot. If you happen to like MDCIs then remember about their sampling program where you can get 5x12ml of MDCI fragrances of your choice for only £90.

You're doing it right mate with all that sampling, don't worry. You could try Santal Majuscule but it has quite prominent rose in it or Sacred Wood By Kilian (sandalwood + faint smell of milk). I believe that the best option for you though is to go the ittar way if you want to something that's mostly just sandalwood. Arabs have been producing this stuff for centuries and the quality is amazing (I only sniffed some in Arabian Oud shop at Time Square, so I guess this is just the tip of the iceberg). However, you'll need to pay a bit extra if you want to get good stuff but imo it's worth it. Sadly ittars are not discussed here a lot, so I can't recommend you anything other than Sultan Pasha and Arabian Oud really.
>>14809529
That's true but typically you can tell that after 5-10 wears which you can get out of a 2ml sample. I really think he did the right thing. One can always revisit a frag later and moreover there are so many great things to smell that there's no point to give another try a fragrance that one didn't like after going through a sample.

Just testing my sample of this Frappin before bed and this is the final answer to the question ‘what’s the upgrade from TdH?’. Both people who like TdH will enjoy it as it’s great quality masculine blend with oranges and woody notes on the first stage and those who find TdH cloying/too heavy on ISO E Super or vetiver as it’s better balanced out. Also one can find bottles of Frappin for real cheap. Good stuff

Lads i got some samples and i need help deciding on what is redundant im trying to keep my bottle amount below 10 i currently own luna rossa sport, and the one EDP and zara 9.0 although the last one is so cheap i dont consider it to be full bottle. Bottles i want to cop

>mancera aoud lemon mint
I want to make this my dumb reach for spring/summer/fall its just amazing and i love it still have to go all the way through my sample so ill see if that changes

>zoologist squid
i cant get enough of this i want to use this in the summer and fall i def want one i probably wont wear it as often as aoud lemon mint but i plan on wearing it in the same situations as aoud lemon mint and date nights in S/F

>Zoologist chameleon
I want this but not as bad as squid i could turn it into a daily driver for S/S but the price of doing that seems too much imo and im worried its use would be redundant with squid

>zoologist camel
I like it but probably not full bottle worthy for me but i also havent sampled it a ton so i will see if this changes over time

>zoologist civet
Very nice but i feel the same as camel towards it

>lubin akkad
I havent sampled this one too much but it smells very snice overall one im the least convinced about i would use it as my F/W daily driver i want to sample idole before making a decision thinking of asking for christmas

>mugler pure malt
Dumb reach in the F/W i also like it a lot

>tea for two
Dont know when i would wear this but going to a coffee shop or staying at home reading seems pretty comfy to me

Hey guys, maybe someone can help me out.
An anon here advised getting CH men privé, and though it sounds really great I am afraid of blind buying it for a couple of reasons:
Heard some yt review descriptions like its boozy and bad boy style of scent. Though I get drunk very regularly, I don't want to come across as a club guy or something like that. I am a sort of cashier, so I can't really be too in your face. I was looking for what you call a signature scent.
Second thing is I live in a country with a warmer climate, so I am thinking this is many times sold as a Winter fragrance... Might not work.
Can someone reassure me of this frag or director me to something better?
Thank you!

Probably this, but I think there's something about this hobby that brings lots of socially inept people with issues. Maybe the fact that it's classically feminine thing to do is the first filter. The other is that you must be quite sensitive to appreciate things like abstract scent compositions. Then there's obviously the internal longing for fame that you're speaking about. Weird stuff.
>>14810165

Good stuff, thanks for reporting. Have you tried Cedrat Boise by Mancera? If you're really sold on aoud lemon mint then I'd suggest you looking up some deals on facebook groups. You can get genuine new boxed Mancera/Montales really cheap (at least here in UK). I was also impressed with Squid, that's some really nice and standing out fragrance. For me Civet smells way better than Camel which is a bit skanky. I'd go for Zoologist Squid and something for colder weather like Tea for Two.

It's not a problem. 99% of population can think about fragrances only in categories 'nice' 'not nice'.

Fragrance one smells pretty good. Not $120 good, but definitely better than shit like YSL Y in the same price bracket and style. It's a meme but atleast a better one than Eros or TdH because if you think about it, Office is pretty much created randomly by Alberto Morillas' AI fragrance algorithms, making it a creation of chaotic Kek energies.

As you can see I have plenty of cheapo drugstore frags and there's a reason I don't have preferred stock. No reason for it when things like Drakkar Noir, Cool Water, AQ or even Sung Homme exist.

Quite snice. Whatever fits your budget. I see there APO’s BdC what are the other oils? I’m a bit skeptical about your ratio oil:alcohol as it seems that the oils are 3ml and will be extremely diluted. Look up the wiki in sticky. The recommended ratio is around 1:4. Sample bro! I got 30 of them. This is the christmas order, I got into this in September and my father wanted me to give them as gifts to the senpai. I went with Perfume Parlour's. Honestly, good or not, most of these are not easily available in any store, and since they're so expensive, people don't buy them, thus it's sure to be a scent that both the senpai and the people around them won't recognise.

Have you tried Universal Perfumes? They're known to be the best in the game, especially the Luzi oils. Expensive, especially the Luzi ones, but if you buy the 12 packs and use the code UNI30, they become the cheapest (non luzi).

>> No.14813242

>>14813220
Yes, I was playing with oils for long time. In general avoid anything but APO and Universal. Perfume Parlour and the rest is couple levels below in terms of quality and perfromance.

As I said, I was really impressed with APO's Tom Fords, some Amouages and Rojas. Their Amber Aoud, Aoud and DIaghilev is almost undistinguishable from originals. Then some other things are just hit&miss but AdP Leather, Green Irish Tweed, YSL Tuxedo, CdG 2 & Floriental, Black Afgano, Montale Wild Pears & Honey Oud, Guerlain Santal Royal & Neroli Outrenoir, By Kilian Black Oud & Sacred Oud are all really good and close to originals. Performance is sometimes an issue (especially when diluted in alcohol) but for this pricetag you can just reapply it when you feel like it.

I have actually tried a LOT from both APO and PP. I have not had any bad experiences with PP thus far, especially after waiting a couple of weeks, the oils are alright. Especially for the price, I don't mind.

Regarding performance, I have been using a 20% concentration Aventus Creed from APO and it lasts. I remember using it one day and two days later the clothes still reeked of it (in a good way). Anyway, this week I'm going to get a Uni order, I'll see what's up with them. Btw, I have been building a wiki for everything perfume oils, maybe you'd like to contribute? perfumeoils.miraheze dot org. Open source, hosted on a non-profit company, no ref links, just pure info.

So, just a follow up to a post I made many threads ago:

I ordered a sex doll (pic related) and wanted to get some perfumes for her that would complete the experience. Alcohol will straight out melt the material these dolls are made out of, so I started looking into knockoff oil perfumes, both because they're cheaper and because they should be safer for the doll to use.

The thread I was in before mentioned not to try the oil perfumes, but I did anyways. I put an order of 13 1ml bottles of various feminine-ish perfumes from APO, and so far I really am glad I did this. They weren't all winners, and I knew they wouldn't be -- Musk Rose and Baccarat Rouge 540 were absolutely disgusting to my nose -- but there were some great standouts. Do Son and Coco Mademoiselle smell just like what I thought I wanted, girly, fresh, a bit sophisticated, but active and energetic. Ambre Sultan blew me away with just how fucking COMFY it was, and I'm honestly considering buying a bottle of that on my next order just for personal use because goddamn that is maximum overcomf. And Boadicea's Empire... that, let me tell you, that makes my peepee the big peepee. That shit just drives me wild.

Preliminary tests indicate that the oil perfumes are safe to use with the TPE material dolls are made out of, too, which is good. My doll isn't here yet (tracking info says she arrives Wednesday), but I have a sex toy made of the same material and putting a liberal application of oil on it did absolute bupkis to the material. I'll repeat the test on my doll when she gets here, and if I get the same result I intend to put another order out, probably from APO, with a bigger bottle of Empire and Ambre Sultan, and a bunch more 1ml samples to try.

I liked the APO White Suede I got a lot, until it, for lack of a better term, overloaded my sinuses. If I put my nose in it and hold for 2 seconds, the first two seconds is very pleasant and I love it, but after that it's like my smell receptor for something fills up and it spills over to something else and I get slammed in the face by something I can only describe with the word "ashtray". Given that half the point is to cuddle with the doll to sleep, not being able to put my nose into her scent is pretty much a straight out disqualifying factor, sadly.

I am primarily looking for 20yo girl though, yeah. But I'm open to trying anything, considering how cheap these things are.

I will look into Givenchy L'interdit, that does sound good. And I had Noir de Noir on my list, but APO is currently sold out of it, so I couldn't order it. I've heard good things, yeah.
