I'm no leather expert but it's definitely better than Docs which sell at $140+. I also like them more than Corcorans because the leather on those was rather stiff and seemed like it needed a long break in. I have no other comparisons.
These were pretty nice after a few days of use and hold pretty well so far, aside from scuffs.
