watch is a patek jacket is custom. I remember reading an interview where the costume lady said that most of the goose's wardrobe is from gap and they just tailored it to make him look buffer. Supposed to be because the driver is autismo so he just buys preset iutfits to look normal

Watch isn't real. It's a fake watch made as a prop for the movie. It's based on a Patek watch, but the actual watch he wears isn't real watch you can buy.
Jacket is made by the wardrobe department. You can't just buy it at a store, but you can look online for copies. Jeans are Acne raws, slim fit. Denim jacket is a Levi's Vintage type III that was tailored by the costume department to be slimmer. Boots are Stacey Adams Madison cap toe in taupe color. Belt is from a brand called Torino. Gloves are from a brand called Gaspar. All the shirts are vintage so you can look for modern copies.

I have his entire wardrobe memorized, I know it all. This movie is what got me into dressing better.

There was actually some place in New Zealand that made replica henleys that were copies of his from the movie. Sadly I lost the links. Not a bad price either.

I feel like without the gay ass scorpion jacket this is a really good basic fit that can make someone look mature and manly. No graphic shit, boots instead of sneakers, everything fits. A jacket instead of a hoodie.
You could easily copy and take inspo from it and have it work. Such a classic fit

Many people have but the look relies on a great fit. The movie makes him look more athletic than he is. It's what got me interested in tailoring my clothes to get a snug fit.

well yeah. The key is to be handsome and fit.

Well yeah, of course you need to have at the very least a slim body, not necessarily a /fit/ one. Being tall is important too.

most slim people are fit to some degree. Skinny is another story

>> No.14782479

>>14782469
I'm skinny fat but I'm tall enough that it doesn't matter. As long as I don't wear a tight t-shit or something you can't even tell I'm skinny fat since it only shows in my stomach.
Skinny looks like shit, people like that need to eat and look bad in anything they wear.

Magnoli Clothiers lel.

I've bought my second Henley shirt from them, waiting for it to be delivered.

This just might be my favourite basic fit that i've seen in movies and that's reasonably easy to replicate.

I've got the Levis trucker jacket that's mentioned previously in the post, obviously not tailored fit but looks good on me. Two custom made henley shirts wth the same colours from Magnoli Clothiers.
Dark navy jeans that i've bought ages ago from H&M and now they fit me on spot and just desert boots in brown colour, maybe not the exact shoes but still looks good and no one would really pay attention to that.

OP here. You guise realize I was just trolling?

How easy would it be to alter the Levis jacket?

I just dropped off a hoodie that was 2 sizes larger and this tailor did a decent job with making it more fit.

Hell yeah, that's the site. Good shit.

If you mean for a tailor then easy, you really need to just take the sides/back in and taper the arms for a perfect fit. They are all reasonably easy, the only harder part is if the sleeves are too long as they will likely have to make it shorter at the shoulder rather than the cuff because of the buttons.

If you mean by yourself, still not hard but you will have to have a semi-decent sewing machine that can work on tough fabric like denim. $40 machines will work for your pants/t-shirts etc. but make lack different stitch settings.

If you learn basics like the above you'll save heaps of money and you'll end up tailoring all your clothes to get a near perfect fit, you'll find the same stitching/constructing over and over again so once you learn it a little you can take on almost anything.

Hard mode is when you go into the realm of making low rise pants higher, changing the zips, changing shoulders of jackets and things that a lot of the time a tailor can't even do as it alters the whole garment.

Double denim is totally acceptable if the shades are different enough. It totally comes down to fit and how the individual pulls it off, but it's not forbidden
