Can't speak much about derma-rolling. Never personally tried it.

If however, your using minox for your head hair, realize it isn't permanent. Whatever gains you make will be lost if you stop applying minox.

Minox for facial hair however, is a different story (at least from what I understand). Once the hair goes terminal, it's permanent.

When your body recognizes a wound, it sends growth factors to the cells in the area to stimulate healing. Some of these growth factors are cell specific, so that you the muscle underneath skin doesnt grow uncontrollably while the skin is healing. Others are more general (like DHT). Increasing dht concentration near hair follicles can help stimulate the blond baby hairs into maturation.

You can also argue that you're treating pores for deeper penetration of minox, but I dont see it being that drastic. Minox is already pretty small and amphithatic as a molecule, so absorption isn't usually a huge issue.

Yes and if you want to increase blood flow I’d recommend a good scalp massage every time you’re in the shower and ~15 min of scalp exercises like this: https://youtu.be/uTN7DnSaKq0

Exercising your occipitalis and frontalis muscles will laxen your galea (the tightness of which is correlated with hair loss), and due to the same mechanisms that give you a pump in the gym, suffuse your scalp with blood.

Not him, but you're both wrong. It's polygenetic and environmentally influenced. It's known to skip generations and manifest itself differently in twins with different habits.

Your follicles have a baseline DHT resistance that's genetically determined, so if you struck out COMPLETELY in that regard ie inherited full baldie genes you're fucked. Opposite applies if you have great hair genes, nothing you can do will make it fall out.

Most guys fall in the middle, where we have a certain amount of thinning and hairline recession programmed into our DNA by default, but the extent and age of onset can be influenced by staying in good cardiovascular shape, eating an anti-inflammatory diet (like the Native Americans and Mediterraneans did, who curiously had extremely low rates of baldness), and generally taking care of your hair.

>> No.14746361

Polygenic inheritance is still genetic lmao
I know it's a complex trait and I wasn't wrong either.
If your follicles are DHT-sensitive and you produce a lot of DHT you're fucked either way and no dieting or exercise will help you to any significant degree

I should clarify that I was talking more about the theory behind it. I haven't seen much in the way of deep clinical trials that offer the same conclusion. I'd recommend buying one on Amazon for $20 and trying it before you drop big money on professional consultation or anything. Always remember that there is an industry based on selling people 'cures' to their insecurities. And finally, dont expect it to move your hairline forward into territory that was never occupied. This is defeatish. Taking the buzzpill is admitting defeat. You're not doing anything brave by shaving your hair off, hitting the gym, and/or growing a beard when you start balding. Society expects men to have short hair or no hair since MPB is so common among men.

However, if balding is a test by society for men, taking testosterone blockers and estrogen supplements, RISKING growing breasts, feminine fat redistribution, feminizing your facial features, your fertility, shrinking your penis, your ability to maintain erections, and having to go full trans if your appearance veers to far into the realm of femininity, thus risking being rejected by your family/friends, BASICALLY, putting your entire masculinity on the line to save your hair, that's the true way a "man" would pass the test; NOT tucking tail and running away by shaving your head.
