Small doses of benzos are good for alleviating anxiety, but I never understood the recreational appeal of them. I'm not a fan of the blackout effect they have. Personally, I like opiates

All of the above OP, xanax is fun at first when out partying with thots, passing em out like candy and having blackout sex with them, until you realize you blew half a year with nothing to show for it. I'm 2 years sober from a huge benzo addiction. 4 trips to jail and 3 years wasted. If you insist on doing benzos, do just small doses paired with other drugs ( coke is a good one to take the edge off the coke, opiates are cool too but careful of synergizing the two and ODs). I'd much prefer to do small doses of opiates nowadays if I choose to ingest drugs for recreation.

But why? Its boring as shit. Unless you have legitimate anxiety. Even then it sucks. I started by using it at parties initially, but to be honest I mostly used it to sleep at night after the first 8-9months or so. I've always had terrible insomnia and after partying with stims and heavy pot use my insomnia just got worse. I justified to myself by saying I used it not unlike a retard.

Honestly, benzos are some of the worst drugs of all time imo desu. Not as euphoric as stims or opiates. Not as sociable as alcohol. Not as benign or accepted as pot. Literal soccer mom/soundcloud rap tier. Harder to kick than opiates. I had an easier time kicking oxy than xanax. Maybe the only thing worse is being a "edgy stoner" or hippy that wont stop talking about psychs

Weed I used to like but started giving me anxiety and I stopped consuming 2 years ago. Benzos are boring shit too and pointless unless you suffer from panic attwcks, I'd say the most effay drug I've tried so far is mdma because you can dance for hours without giving a shit about no thot

You really shouldn't be doing drugs, especially the ones listed ITT. There is nothing /fa/ about being strung out/hedonism. Nicotine and caffeine have their time and place. Alcohol and weed (if it's your cup of tea, can't say I like it much). Benzos and opiods are a no go along with any amphetamines that arent adderall. Dissociatives are nonproductive and used by people who hate themselves. I would personally recommend Psychedelics but not as party drugs if you want to get something out of it.

lorazepam is my silver bullet for when im losing my fucking shit, although after having some experience with anxiety attacks (when i first started getting them i didnt know wtf was going on so that made them worse and last for days) now i can basically start getting one, realize whats going on, and calm myself down without one. i take 45mg SNRI at night to sleep. if your life isnt under control for the most part then all benzos will do is make you dependent on them which can fuck you up.
