Quilted jackets were a thing even some 3 centuries ago.
They dont make winter coats the same as they did a century ago, nowadays coat is strictly an autumn piece.

You can get something similar called a donkey jacket or look at french chore coats for something slightly longer.

Check out Vetra for french wool workers jackets and you can find the donkey jacket from most english outerwear makers like gloverall/universal works/albam. If you have money, Margaret Howell makes great ones as well if you have the money.

You should be able to find one pretty easily from thrifting or online auctions, if you're a euro catawiki is a pretty good one that has fur auctions pretty much weekly.
