I’ve been getting FM French Lover for a few weeks, and it initially had this spicy rooty quality at the top that felt really unpleasant and abrasive. After wearing a few weeks I can hardly even detect that note and it almost has a sweet quality that was non existent in the beginning.

Tbh it doesn't take Machiavelli's social intelligence to see that he most likely just made this story up. At some point he mentions selling decants from the batch of Aventus that he apparently has used to show what a beast his stuff is. Then he started gradually lessening the story saying that he was sent home 'only a bit earlier', 'it was a very polite chat' etc. That's a typical mechanism you can see when let's say not the sharpest knives in the drawer (but from what I've seen he is pretty much a spoon) try to make themselves more believable. This doesn't change my point that he's a fucking weirdo. Here's yet another example https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ndAU1OAQZqA Is there any such a thing like a socially adjusted fraghead?

Check out Alkemia on Etsy. The have a lot of scents with smoke and a lot that are "spooky" themed. Same for Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab. Comme de Garcons 3 series is pretty smokey in a incense-y gothic sort of way.

I've never tried it, but 1805 Tonnerre by BeauFort London is supposed to smell like gunpowder... kinda matches your firecracker thing.

Wore my Roja Midsummer Dream today. Really enjoying it. I know Roja’s not everyone’s cup of tea here, but I’m glad I copped. It has this sort of smokiness to it, saffron’s not a listed note, but that’s sort of what it smells like to me. Could be the cardamom. It’s just kinda soapy, but with this really snice, sweet sort of candied citrus, those resins, some woody and mossy facets, and then that smokiness I mentioned above.

Really exactly the sort of scent I love. I really love smoky notes, but it has to be relatively subtle. Too much smoke kills it for me. This is just the right amount.

So the neck, shoulders, chest, wrists - you pick.

Actually didn’t wear anything today, because I went out to go see that Bulgarian girl I mentioned before who wears an obscene amount of Paco Rabanne Olympea, so I figured there’s no point, since I wouldn’t be able to smell it over her... I guess... Stacy Miasma? anyway. Joke was on me, though, because her curtain was closed all afternoon, so I wound up seeing this little Romanian qt I’ve seen a few times before instead.

My current oil collection. Recently got a couple of new ones. Tuscan Leather, first time I tried it, it was way too stingy on the nose, just leather. Applied it, and the raspberry subdued the leather. Honestly it was the best the fragrance I have ever smelled on myself or others.

Anyway, let me know if you need any help with oils in general

Both godly frags brah. Drakkar Noir contains 10% dihydromyrcenol in it’s fragrance formula and Cool Water contains 20%, so see if you can perceive that. It’s the super fresh metallic citrusy/lavender laundry-esque smell that pervades the opening. If you spray on your wrist and then breathe hot air on it 10 mins later and sniff, the smell you get is pretty much pure dihydromyrcenol.

This guy should get clinical help imo. I can smell from a mile that he might become an hero. No sane man in his age should behave that way. It reminds me of my worst moments when I was edgy af when on the verge of a mental breakdown.

Honestly this. Eugene is not a happy guy. You can tell he’s just barely holding his life together. His wife obviously checked out ages ago, I see a divorce in the near future. Doesn’t seem like it’d take much to push him over the edge. His fragrance addiction might be the only thing keeping him from completely losing it, but it’s also ruining his life. Not even trying to be edgy, dude needs help. I honestly hope he shuts down his channel, stops spending all his money on frags, works on his marriage, and gets his shit together. Unfortunately, the statistics are not in his favor...

You mean the kids and wife that he admits in one of the videos that he neglects because of his fragrance ‘passion’? I remember calling him out and genuinely suggesting to get his shit together when he admitted in a depressed manner in one of his videos that he might sell some bottles and finally go on long bewaited vacations with his family. His reaction? He deleted my comments. Not as cocky and edgy reaction as you could expect of he held his shy together and was just playing a character in his videos, huh? Couple months later he stills buy bottles that probably doesn’t fit his budget. This hobby is consuming him mate. He is not a sane men.

He legitimately has an addiction. I saw a lot of this sort of behavior from my alcoholic buddy before he ultimately drank himself to death. Unfortunately, with people like that, they usually just end up swapping one addiction for another. If Eugene wasn’t buying frags, he’d probably be gambling, or drinking, or shooting heroin. Some people’s brains are just wired that way. They were born with those self-destructive tendencies and they die with them, usually quite young.
