The messy bun has been a bit more common the last few years, but well coiffed up-dos still are pretty hard to find. Women have been wearing their hair longer so I wouldn't be surprised if it came back into fashion.

Its too bad Downtown Abbey spent so little of its run in the first decade of the 20th century, I think it could have inspired an Edwardian revival amongst normie women.
