Old thread is at bump limit so I'll ask here.
How is sizing on Alden boots? Specifically the truebalance and barrie lasts? Is it half size down or tts or what?

>> No.14641265

>>14641257
Half size down on both is what most say. I went a full size down on trubalance and had to stretch my boots out a bit. just got a pair of shoes in Barrie and only went down a half, and they fit perfectly.

The thing with heavy, rough and tumble-boots like these is that you can tell when their wearer is an insecure faggot. So, most people in this board will immediately spout shit like this >>14646241 about 'em, "omg theyre gay that's so gay that you means you like DICK and fucking PUSSY". These fucknuts rarely understand that the idea is to just not give a fuck about what other insecure cunts on this board might think. Sure, there's more casual practicality that comes with more toned-down boots, but you can still wear taller boots like this without it coming off as "wokstar larping". They're a more bulky and heavy model, that's just a given. Just wear them heavy and rough. Unless you're literally still in middle school, then this kind of confidence will override anyone who's insecure enough about their sexuality and gender identity to label you as a queer. You should wear the boots, not the other way around.

As for fits, simply more denim and leather. Tight jeans might make you look like you're just really into speed metal, but if that's your thing then go for it. I normally wear slim-fit or straight denim or leather jeans with mine. Pair this with a slim leather, denim or even an olive green army jacket, it's simple enough.

I like boots, I own four pairs with plans for more. They're all different leathers, different soles. They're cool and I know a lot about boots and enjoy helping people who have questions. You sound like a very sad person for trying to bring people down for having interests in something just because you don't. I'd tell you to have sex but that's too obvious.

If by actual work you mean manual labor like construction and shit, then yeah of course. I don't think anyone has implied they would be. They're perfect work boots for me, but I mostly just do indoor shit. I'm a independent guitar tech and I do session work. They're just daily beaters that I don't have to worry about. I also havent had to spend money replacing shoes every other season since I bought them. Just because I can't wear them on a construction site doesn't mean they arent practical foot wear in other ways.

I'm 6'3", boots add almost an inch of height as well. It's awesome towering over people and having people look up at me.
Manlets will never know this feel and no matter what they do they will never be able to. They will always be insecure about it and try and cope by dressing in certain ways. All they can do is lift weights and try and get fit to compensate for being short. And when they do that it's painfully obvious that they're doing it as a cope.
They were doomed from the day they were born. It's both sad and incredibly funny.
