Pic related is where I live, the area I mark in orange is definitely /tip/, the rest is a socialist shithole + industrial complexes.

About shopping, there is a good variety available. There is a big El Corte Ingles comercial centre where you can find Polo Ralph Lauren, Lacoste, Brooks Brothers, Nautica, Barbour, Tommy Hilfiger, Sebago and other non-spanish brands which fit in /tip/. And in the city centre you can find some good shops for this style such as the ones listed here:
https://pastebin.com/QdmWm5zt

There are also local shops from Massimo Dutti, El Ganso, Pedro del Hierro and some spanish shoe brands such as Castellano and Berwick are easily available.

Yes, they're called every half-decent second-hand shop in the nation. If you're in or near L O N D O N you can get a US-style unlined sack sportcoat in Harris tweed for £40-50 even on fucking Portobello Road.

The cheapest decent-quality straight cut high waist cords that I know exist are made by Darcy Clothing in the UK, they're £88 which at the current piss poor (for bongs, it's great for you burgers) exchange rate is about $110, but you'll have to pay import tax and shipping, I guess, and then pay an alteration tailor to hem them for you as they ship unhemmed, so you'll probably land on $150 in the end. Still, here's the link:

Yeah. Definitely an influx lately. Probably because the 90s zoomer style is falling out of fashion as it's been beaten to death. So as fashion goes, we're returning back to /tip/ influence.
I was telling my sister & mother this back in january. How the chunky sneakers and oversized 90s stuff is coming to an end and we'll be seeing a return specifically with loafers.

first and foremost is confidence. if you're uncomfortable. people will pick up on that without even knowing why.
second is this a big transition from your regular attire? even if you're getting that fresh start most want in college. if you're not used to dressing like this, you will be uncomfortable and people will pick up on it.
best to always start slow and introduce items into your wardrobe slowly. do you usually wear jeans and sweatpants? swap the sweatpants for cords and start wearing only dark wash jeans.
always rocking a t shirt and a hoody? once you have your pants down. replace that hoodie with a crewneck sweater that's cotton or wool with no branding. add the oxford cloth button down next.
at this point you can start to branch out a bit more, get those khakis, try out a tie with that sweater + ocbd combo, experiment with a sport coat.
the key thing is to keep yourself comfortable and confident. the whole thing should appear effortless.

what's your squat? i find it hard to believe you can't find a pant. you can always go up in the waist to get a wider thigh and get the waist tailored slimmer.

Straight cuts, and get trousers that fit in the leg. Then have a tailor take in the waist for you, which is an easy operation.

(Alternatively you could get your trousers MTO via e.g. Luxire, or fully tailored if you can afford that)

Hey /prep/. Not normally a prep poster, but I like to class it up a bit in the autumn/winter. I have a harris tweed 3 button blazer in approximately the pattern/color of pic related. I wanted to know If it's acceptable to wear it with black or charcoal tweed pants? What about other patterns of tweed? What if I went full 3 piece, with different colors? Would I want the waist coat to match the blazer or the pants? Could you go all different, like brown jacket, charcoal vest, black pants? What about with a more casual fit like with a sweater, are very nice jeans acceptable? Cotton trousers/chinos? Also I don't care much for solid button-ups. Are very small plaids/micro-checks acceptable? I want to get into the world of tweed, but are there any huge don'ts?

Today after work, I threw it on with the plain black tee, and dark gray jeans I'd been wearing all day. Not ideal, but it totally worked, and confirmed it works with almost anything. Gonna scout out some charcoal or black tweed trousers, and some nice sweaters.

What would be an interesting way of wearing this style of cardigan? Right now i am in the process of losing weight, so my wardrobe is rather limited. A crew neck t-shirt like the model is wearing would obviously work, but it is a little bit too casual and i do not have a fitting tee for that right now.
My options are pretty much limited to polos and a white OCBD. I feel that either would clutter the upper chest area too much due to the collar and the coat effectively having 2 layers.

What would you all recommend as far as shoes go for something super casual in an office setting? I'm talking t-shirts and chinos to oxfords and sweaters in the cooler weather.

Not looking to flex or anything, just kind of tired of wearing sneakers but feel like all my other leather shoes are overkill for days like lately. Was thinking of getting a pair of clarks but I'm sure I could do better.

what do you boys think of jolly roger bits & things?
it's part of the nautical motif and arguably is as relevant as code flags.
but when you consider the bonesmen/skull and bones society. you are quickly walking the larping line.
regardless i think most people have no idea about the society and it really is just jarring and out of place for most outfits.
it's almost juvenile and almost always on black and not navy which makes it less versatile.
