I'm looking for a certain type of smock. More precisely the "Canoeist Smock" originaly worn by the British SBS-units. Hawkwood Mercantile makes reproductions but they're handmade to order and thus v. expensive. I stumbled across a version made by J.Crew's Wallace And Barnes-brand but they've sold out. Can anybody point me in the direction of a non-sold out, non-overly expensive version of the smock.

Will settle for bold colours as well as that's what I'm going for, being a Jacques Cousteau kinda vibe.

Most of the jackets and parkas I have done have had easy to remove liners, which I have not bothered to dye. The RIT process will certainly "work" on lining but keep in mind you will essentially get one color out of that process. It involves submerging the entire article.

I'm sure there are dyes you could brush on from the outside, you would have to make sure it was stained evenly and that will be hard.
