As for low calorie cooking I tend to make a lot of soups and avoid oil. Miso soup is very good in my opinion. It's also a good idea to use a lot of spices to make the food as flavorful as possible. If you can handle spicy foods then make you food very spicy--it causes me to drink a lot of water which also fills me up.
Any other suggestions?

I feel that. I used to be overweight overweight before I entered high school(I was 5'5 150lbs) and I constantly felt disgusted by myself and I was made fun of a bunch for being fat. I played a sport so it wasn't too bad, but I couldn't shake that thought ever. By the time I got out of high school I was 5'9.5 and 162lbs, but I had gained a lot of muscle from working out for sports. During college I lost a lot of weight just by fasting and walking a ton, and finally felt happy with my body at 5'9.5 137lbs. Now three years later and through a gf and 18 months of deep depression, I've gained 9 pounds and I just feel gross again. All I want to do is lose 10 pounds and get back to where I was or maybe down to 133 or so. I felt so good and now I don't and I'm not even fat. I just like to eat and cook, but I don't eat much and through the depression and gf I picked up so many shitty habits and I basically lived like a NEET for 11 months where I never went to class, quit my job, and lived off reserve cash/cheap food/delivery and sat around playing games instead.

Ive never gone to a gym or anything like that, all I do is like 3 or 4 days a week ill do some light body weight exercises- like maybe 50push ups, 100situps, 50 squats. I dont know if this little exercise even makes much of a difference though. I dont eat good food at all either but I just stay under my calorie goal of like 1200-1500 depending on if ive exercised that day.

I've been Vegan for 4 years.I firmly believe that it's the best diet for human health at any size. I've been on a diet since the 26th I weigh 158rn and i was 163 when I started. I've been using cronometer and logging all of my food and exercise and WEIGHING my food. I can share more food logs for the past days if anyone is interested. I'll even make a write up of my most common foods for you later. I was really inspired by an online friend who's skinny af (5'5 115lbs) and when I seen their perfect twink physique I got a huge hard on. He wanted to go back to 95 but hes also bulimic and suffers from deficiencies so I wanted to show him it's possible for him to lose weight and get to his goal while fixing his vitamin A, B, and C deficiencies by getting my diet as close to 1000 calories a day except when I do hard cardio that day and then I'll eat 1300. It's been super easy for me especially with greens, sweet potatoes, and potatoes plus a few other foods to hit my goals and get all my nutrition for the day. I plan on dieting down to 125 by Christmas which is very possible with a 1000 calorie deficit every day for the next 20 weeks

Whatever fat he has is likely Visceral fat so he's got like 20+ lbs to lose. making his chest stick out farther than his stomach will certainly help. He also has weak transverse abdominals. Just fast like a food ol’ Roman style (Augustus’ favourite): on a piece of good quality bread once a day. I’ve found this method easy to do and satisfying, also actually maintainable without messing with my head and developing an unhealthy relationship with food. This whole fasting on nothing but water has gone mainstream I don’t know why. Sure, it’s one way, but even on the bible Jesus and his disciples often fast on many things (mostly bread, also honey in various occasions). Give it a try man.. personally I’m looking into fasting for a week on bananas and onions for that spiritual cleanse, but only attempting it because I’ve been training for it for a while. Otherwise it’s very dangerous.
