It depends on ones taste and style. Some may prefer an older, classic car. Others Euro-exotics, like previously posted (but you will need a 2nd car to actually daily drive), others will require something brand new. Cowboys will want a fancy truck, hipsters will want a hybrid or electric. For me I like comfort, practicality, and an understated style. Pic related.

There isn't one. Different cars compliment different styles.

>Classic Americana style - pre-74 Muscle car or Vintage Truck/SUV
>Nu-Retro 80s Aesthetic - Ae86, Mk3 Supra, anything wedgy with pop-ups.
>Sleazecore - Jaguar XJ6, Lincoln Towncar, Maleise era USDM barges.
>SEXcore- Leased BMW 3 or 4 series
>Deepwebcore- Chevy/GMC g20 Van or Ford Econoline rattlecanned matte black

Again, different cars compliment different styles. The key is some semblance of unity and cohesion between your dress, personality and vehicle. I can't tell you how ridiculous people look dressed in full blown sleaze or a vintage inspired gentlemans 3 peice look, pulling up and hopping out if a modern econobox. It completley disrupts the entire aura that person is trying to put off.

If you want a car thats almost universally cohesive with most styles, I'd recommend a (98-11) Ford Crown Victoria or a (78-90) Chevorlet Caprice. These cars are the epitome of universally generic shitboxes. Prevelant use by government agencies, fleet rental sales and private party buyers makes these things ubiquitous and classless in the sense they could be driven by anyone. They're outdated and unobtrusive designs say little about the owner and are vehicles not asociated with any particular race, age group, tax bracket. Black, white, rich, poor, young, old, anyone and everyone makes up the demographic for these cars.

Reading that was pretty upsetting. I found my 280zx in pretty much mint condition with low ass mileage for only $9000. The night before me and my dad went to buy it (I was gonna cover $1500 of the price and my dad was gonna pay the rest), the owner called saying some dumbass dented the left fender and he'd let it go for $7000 flat.

After we bought it, I checked the price of the 280zx and it was worth a little over 20 grand. So if you ever see one in excellent condition for cheap, pull the trigger on it.
