I have been using Hugo Boss for the last 3 years or so (first used the dark blue and now I am using the standard Hugo by Hugo Boss), however although it smells decent for me, I am afraid that it might be by association with pleasant memories (aka dad and such).

That being said, I would like to know:

1- If these are actually that bad to keep.
2- If so, what is some suggestions to replace them (My price range is quite flexible).
3- I love vanilla smell, however I think it is quite feminine, do you have any stories with vanilla fragrances and if so, how did they go and what were you "using".

There are a lot of masculine vanilla scents. TV, as mentioned above. Tom Ford also has Vanille Fatale. Montale and Mancera make a few. Amouage Sunshine. Roja Enigma. Versace Eros. Spicebomb Extreme.

Could try YSL Tuxedo. Has some vanilla, but it’s not the main focus. Kilian Straight to Heaven and Straight to Heaven Extreme are dry, almost astringent woody vanilla and rum.

Vanilla is a pretty common note in Men’s fragrances.

That's the first time I actually experienced that radical change between different phases. Top/head is all about sweet fruits. Notes are quite on point here as well and you can easily get lychee and raspberries (that are not too feminine). Then it morphs into a smell of an ocean breeze. Salty but refreshing.
