Had Clae Ellington full leather for about 4 years and they were the best shoes I had.
The upper was flat and the base was textured kinda like waffled. I don't know how to describe it.
A nice neutral grey color so they went with pretty much anything.
Looking at their site now, I don't see the same style they had before, or any full leather Ellington in full grey.
Is Clae textile going to hold up as well as their leather had? Or should I look for something else?
The only leather they have on their site is black, brown, blue, no grey.

I have 2 pair of tanjuns, a buy 1 get 1 free deal. 1 pair white, one black. They're comfy and wear well, the black ones are great, but the mesh of the white ones are impossible to clean. Scrubbing doesn't get inside the mesh. Putting them in the washing machine doesn't help any, even with oxy-clean stuff. Sprays and soaks don't work. They wind up an embarrassing dingy grey color. Avoid any white or light colored mesh shoe.

So far I ruled out Nike reacts since their soles are too soft and will wear out prematurely.
