I've been soft-LARPing with a vampire style for years now, the trick to keeping it up with normies is being subtle about it. I'm male, by the way.

Pale skin is a must, but not deathly pale as in OP's pic, that's just going overboard; good grooming of eyebrows and good skincare are also necessary for that otherworldy alabaster skin look.
Hair needs to be black or light blonde, anything that isn't short usually works, as long as it's straight or wavy. Paradoxically, full bald is better than buzzed for this look.
Dress in black or white with casual wear, no inbetweens. In more elegant occasions, you can truly go to town.
A few rings/necklaces/accessories are also great, preferrably silver ones, as counter-intuitive as that may sound.
Facial hair should be either non-existent or well-trimmed; big bushy beards are a no-no.

I'm black and I jumped on the goth bandwagon when I was in middleschool though I RPed as one on gaia even before that. Unlike in this pic, I have a yellow-ish green skin from anemia so I look ghoulish anyways which works for me. After all, my ancestors invented zombies so, while I don't try to do the vampire route Caucasians do, or the zhizhu jing East Asians, I try to do the ghoul/zombie look which is nice.
