These are great, I might have to pick up a pair if they don't go for (too) ridiculous a price.

I love this collection. I think it's really interesting and the collabs are subtle. Definite Helmut influence for the zip pants, silver lame, and banded pants. The UFW tie-in is a great move and the UFW logo even works with Rick's whole aesthetic. I'm much more excited for this collection then the past few.

People aren't discussing it because the majority of users on this board are teenagers with no money who think denim jackets with stan smiths are the pinnacle of fashion, and that the objective of fashion is to attract the opposite sex.

It's good. I like >>14434580, but the leather in this photo looks somehow cheap and the laces almost look like they're mummifying the shoe.

Helmut Lang pretty much single-handedly created the idea of designer denim in the '90's. Stans are one of the classic sneaker options from the '90's alongside airmaxes and superstars.

Half of the posts on this board are about docs, vans, chunky sneakers, throwback skate brands, and straight fit cropped pants, all of which are were '90's hallmarks.

I'm guessing you were a baby during the '90's?

I think you lost track of the original question, which is why no one here seems to care that Rick just dropped a fantastic new collection. The point is that people aren't discussing recent Rick collections because the youth has moved away from the more talented and interesting designer stuff and more toward the heavily branded '90's influenced streetwear look. It's not about the specific number of threads on /fa/ or their post counts, it's about the bigger picture.
