The watch in the OP is the best dive watch you can buy for the price by far but its quartz obviously. NATO straps can be fun to mess with too but don't go overboard.

I'd get one of these for the ability to have a back up device to store phone numbers and the added bonus of a calculator but Casio had to be faggots and discontinue it so it's overpriced now.

Getting one of these, always wanted one for years just never got around to finding a decent condition cheap one, though I have no doubt the Soviet movement will be shit. What would be a good 24h movement to look for to replace it? I obviously would prefer a mechanical one but I'll settle for quartz if I have to, atleast it'll be accurate then, though I really would prefer a sweeping second hand.

Because it's some fake shit throwing miscellaneous parts together and upselling to you for $60. Replacing the movement is stupid too. Nobody makes 24 hour movements and you'd have a hard time adapting it anyways.
