otherwise, you could probably get a nicer shoe by hitting up a custom maker (I'm going to namedrop Zeb Shoes here because I know that their all in price on calf leather boots is less than even the sale price on those Ann things) and asking them to replicate the shoe as closely as they can, and you could even change little things you don't like, if you're willing to wait for them.

to actually respond to you autism, I never said those boots were worth the money, like most high fashion. But discounting design as a factor in price is a little autistic. The time spent designing something isn't suddenly not worth money because it isn't the material cost.
