I'm not worried about getting mugged, it's more so that the city collectively looks down on any sign of wealth. ETA calibers (mechanisms), come in 4 basic flavours: base, elaborate, top and chronometre.

Top and chronometre are the same, only the chronometre ones are better regulated and sent for Cosc certification.

Then, brands that source their calibers from ETA can refinish or modify them. Tudor for example uses Top grade but heavily modified, but doesnt bother to send them for Cosc certification... All marketing strategies.

Breitling uses Chronometre grade when outsources from ETA. Tag uses a mix of Elaborate, Top... rebranded/licensed Seiko stuff... you never know what shit is inside a Tag Huehuehue.

I’ve never posted on the watch thread before but I was genuinely curious for some feedback on experiences with this brand of watch.
I recently learned that single hand, 24 hour watches exist and I really love the concept. I was originally interested in svalbard watches buy they just seemed cheaply constructed. While searching for other options Botta kept popping up and appear to be a really decent watch company out of Germany.
