Aspiring watchmaker here again. If I go to watchmaking school it's four years before I can work at a manufacture. I want to become an independent watchmaker but to become recognised as a great independent, you have to pay your dues and work at a respected manufacture/s for at least a decade.

Where do you think the watch industry would be at 15 years from now? I mean, fewer people wear watches today, and how much less would that be in 2035? Will journalists be telling watchmakers in 2035 to learn to code?
