@14341120
Why do people come here just to post shitters?

It's so fucking cringe, it's like turning up to a car meet and flexing your Nissan Micra, or attending an event commemorating the 100 year anniversary of a golf course's opening and then taking a shit in one of the holes.

Just fuck off and don't come back, you have no respect for this interest what so ever, your supposed "interest" is as fleeting as how long you can last in bed you fucking beta subhuman.

Go get a proper woman, get a proper job, earn your keep, and buy a Rolex. Stop thinking you can be somebody or think that you can somehow "game the system", like yo're buying into some super secret club that lets you save money, just by purchasing a shitter watch that claims to be "affordable luxury".

Unless you are committed to setting your life on the required course of corrective action I would STRONGLY recommend taking the sub-$3000 you were going to spend on a piece of shit watch on a cheap car, parking it in an enclosed space then catching some much needed sleep.

Fuck off and die you worthless fucking degenerate.

The Speedmaster's styling is somewhat unique in its price range. Most affordable chronos are big chunky things with fat bezels and busy dials, while the Speedmaster is relatively slim, sleek, and minimal, almost dressy given the right strap. I don't know of many watches under $5-6k that come close. The closest I can think of would be IWC's entry level pilot chronos, but I don't think they're anywhere near as well-resolved of a design as the Speedmaster.

Extreme temperatures are the most obvious thing. Spacewalk temperatures range from -250 to 250F, and can change very rapidly as the spacecraft/station orbits in and out of the Earth's shadow. Vacuum also wreaks havoc on traditional lubricants, which can be a pretty big issue for watches.

NASA Tests

After a long and intensive test period the Speedmaster became the exclusive wristwatch for astronauts in 1965. But what tests did the 105.003 (or NASA reference 6049 – USA designation) pass?

High temperature test: 70° C for 48 hours, then 93° C for 30 minutes in a partial vacuum.

Low temperature test: -18° C for 4 hours.

Vacuum test: heated in a vacuum chamber and then cooled to -18° C for several cycles.

Humidity test: ten 24-hour cycles in >95% humidity with temperatures ranging from 25° C to
70° C.

Corrosion test: in an atmosphere of oxygen at
70° C for 48 hours.

Shock-resistance test: six 40 G shocks in six different directions.

Acceleration test: progressive acceleration to 7.25 G for about five minutes and then to 16 G for 30 seconds in three axes.

Low pressure test: pressure of 10’6 atmospheres at 70° C for 90 minutes, then at 93° C for 30 minutes.

High pressure test: in an air pressure of 1.6 atmospheres for 60 minutes.

Vibration test: random vibrations in three axes between 5 and 2,000 Hz With an acceleration of
8.8 G.

Sound test: 130 decibels at frequencies from 40
to 10,000 Hz for 30 minutes.

The bigger watch community online is all about shitters whether you agree with it or not, a vague vintage seiko or no name microbrand with a cool design will get respect from within those circles. "BUT THOSE ARE CIRCLES OF SHITTER OWNERS!!!!" would be the response, but it's a majority game, if there is endless yt channels, forums, watch groups on fb, here, etc. etc. for shitters then I will get the content and validation (if I'm after it) that I want.
