I'm a 32 year old at your local gothic/industrial club. Yes, the age demographic is tilted pretty heavily towards my end, but there are still a lot of younger people although they tend to prefer gothic metal and aggrotech over goth rock and EBM. You don't see goth or industrial fashion on the street the way you might have when we were kids. Just part of adults and professionals--most of us only get dressed up to go out to events or clubs. I don't know what the high school kids are doing these days since we don't let them in.

I have met self described goths and have hanged out at a "goth party" with them, im far from being a normie but fuck do goth people bore the shit out of me. Though its the only time i ever seen a guy get fucked in the ass in plain view of everyone.
