Wind it up every morning out of habit, though the power reserve is 48 hours

>If you wear it like every day for two weeks will it be multiple minutes out unless you keep setting it right every few days?
No, if it were that inaccurate I'd take it in for service

Explorer II isn't a GMT in the proper sense like the GMT Master II.
It's just a regular watch that has an extra 24 hour hand for the 24 hour bezel. It was designed so spelunkers and people who work in places with no access to sunlight will know if it's AM or PM by looking at the 24 hand. It's not the same as the GMT being able to show multiple time zones by rotating the bezel.

Honestly, the Explorer II is kinda gimmicky as very few people are spelunkers or work jobs where they don't see sunlight, but I think it's a nice watch and one of Rolex's more underrated ones. I'd love one myself one day.

Just had the idea of how to use your diving bezel for a GMT function. Well, it's actually a reminder of the hours to add or subtract from your home time.

You could memorize it like in the pic. Then you just assume that the 12 o'clock position on the dial is your starting point and just turn the bezel to display the amount of hours you need.

Assume the 12 on the dial as "+" so you have to add the hours that are shown on the bezel.
When you wanted to remember how many hours to substract instead of to add, one would assume the 6 on the dial as "-" and start the hour count from there.
Why 12 and 6? Well twelve is above so a + and 6 is below so a -.

Of course it would be easier to just remember the time difference or set your watch but sometimes you are in a hurry and just forget about it or are unsure, so a reminder on your wrist can be useful.

Yeah, rolex price policy and all their little tricks and the hype of the fans create overinflated prices.
Well, there is a similar tudor, just saw one for €4.1K.
Personally i would just get a good, unlabeled hommage like tisell or parnis to cure the itch. No way in hell i would pay so much much for a rolex and not feel like the biggest goy for buying in the current market situation.
I like rolexes only for their design anyway so i would be fine with only getting the hull with a good jap movement.

the radioactivity of the paint is so minute, it can't penetrate the layers of the dial/movement/back or even the crystal.
The women they used to hire to paint it on back in the day got cancer right and left since they were told it was safe and they were licking their brushes to get a fine point hundreds of times per day.
If you remove the dial and hands and bite down on them, that would be bad. but as long as it's in the watch the alpha or gamma particles cannot enter your body
