What would be a good cyberpunk style for those who live in hot and humid climates? Seriously asking, because I would be caught dead if I wore most of the stuff I see in this climate...

you're in a difficult situation because cyberpunk has historically been associated with dark rainy nuclear winter cities and the clothing is overteched to suit that environment.

for humid environments, you'll want (in general) loose, gauzy, light fabrics. extra pockets and straps and belts from traditional cyberpunk are inappropriate. so is all that black.

things that might work include:
mesh
tank tops
light wraps
that uv cut shit from uniqlo
sunglasses (duh)
honestly a lot of athletic wear is functional for that climate, like all the moisture wicking breathable stuff. just choose the stuff that doesnt look like gym clothes
3/4 pants
idk about boots - i don't like leather in that climate and would prefer canvas if you're gonna go high top. low top trainers with mesh uppers are very good

i think you'll have to identify what aspects of cyberpunk you really like and dump the idea of emulating outfits from traditional cyberpunk. i live in a place with cold winters and hot humid summers so i have a winter cyberpunk wardrobe and one that incorporates much of the above for summer. it'll feel a lot better and you won't look like you're LARPing in the summer. pic related might not scream cyberpunk but is actually pretty comfortable

mesh tops
cutoff cargo pants
jungle boots
mirrorshades
leather accessories

its really easy, just try thinking for yourself instead of copying what you see online.

Get the right haircut and mirror shades and everything else will fall into place.

I don't live in a subtropical environment, but I am genuinely interested in a summer cyberpunk thread.
